The upcoming 2020 model year Defender (codenamed L663) is now being tested on the open road around Jaguar-Land Rover’s Gaydon’s design studio.

The images, provided by Autocar Magazine, show that the Defender will still keep its iconic boxy shape, with a large, straight, windscreen.

More details will follow as soon as we know more about the ‘New Defender’. It appears this should be rather soon, as obviously, Land Rover is no more hiding from the camera and most likely had planned these images to be shot, as the #Best4x4xFar stickers suggest and the fact that none other than Land Rover’s Executive Director and Product Engineering, Nick Rogers, is driving!
